Apologies!

Hello everybody, I'm back! I have to apologize for not being online for the past week. Me and the family spent a lovely Christmas in France with lots of good food, good wine and plenty of 'Ah, pardon monsieur. Je ne parle pas Francais!!' The only problem was Google didn't want to let me access my blog, it thought I was a cyber threat to myself..... So now I'm back I'm slowly catching up on everybody's posts and comments and normal service will be resumed shortly!
I have to thank everybody for wishing me a happy Christmas, your comments mean a lot!
I didn't come back empty handed, thanks to my wife's parents, er I mean Santa, I brought back this:

Hopefully some time in the new year I'll actually get to build and review it, while all the 2014 sets are in the shops and desperately need buying!

I hope everybody has a safe and happy new year, and I look forward to reading all your blogs and having fun!

  Brian.

  6. Hi Brian!
    I didn't find your e-mail so:
We were having flights with my husband via Norwegian airlines!
They have magazines in the planes, so I read one: n by Norwegian December 2013 Issue 12. On the cover there was photos of Lego-people saying " By 2019 these people will outnumber humans. Why Lego just keeps on growing"
Inside the magazine there is a 10 page-story of Legos...
I have thet magazine at home now. I looked at some net pages and
here is a link to the pages of this norwegian magazine in net, if you are interested!
    Happy Lego year 2014
    Hugs

    1. Hi Kikka!
It's fascinating to think that Lego nearly went bankrupt 10 years ago, and to see how well they're doing now!
I'm glad history turned out the way it did, because a world without Lego.... Noooooooo!!!
Thank you very much for the link, it makes very interesting reading!
      Kind regards, Brian.

  7. Oh Wow France - The only apology needed will be rectified by Pictures of France ;) So Glad you and your family had a wonderful trip and indeed the whole Lego story is so amazing, I am so glad they managed to both stay in business and keep up such excellent product quality - I just built the Creator Dog - (Pics will be coming) and I just kept thinking all through the build how very meaningful and important it is that they have kept their products sturdy and so very interesting. I actually fell for Lego when very tired one day I spent what I realized was the most pleasurable hour I had spent in weeks building the Lego Hogwarts game, that sense of peaceful joy comes over me with every build ever since - and your blog keeps me going to the Lego store for more :) - Thanks so Very Much!

  8. Hi Tiggy! Thanks for your kind words, it's always great to hear from you! I look forward to seeing your Creator dog!
I always find building Lego relaxing, it's very therapeutic.
Sorry but he only pictures we have is of my son opening loads of presents and realizing some of them weren't written in English! It's about time he learned the language anyway, he is half French!
    Kind regards, Brian.
