More Series 1 Minifigs for eBay.

Okay, here's my next little selection of figs for auction on eBay, they'll probably be listed on Saturday or Sunday December 1st or 2nd. I've kept to the figures I mentioned in an earlier post, the Cowboy, Ninja and Tribal Hunter (all pictured below.) They will be listed for 7 days and as usual I'll post anywhere in the world. I'll post some links to the listings when they go live.

The nifty Ninja!

The cool Tribal Hunter

eBay link for Pirates of the Caribbean 7193

Here's the link for my eBay listing for The London Escape. If you're thinking of bidding, good luck!

Sometime either in the middle of this week or at the coming weekend I will be listing a few more Series 1 collectible minifigures, the selection this time will probably (though not necessarily) be the Cowboy, Tribal Hunter and Ninja so lots of weapons on show for this lot!

Pirates of the Caribbean 4193 - London Escape

This coming weekend I will be putting up for auction on eBay Pirates of the Caribbean set 4193 - The London Escape. The set is 100% complete with box, instructions and poster. I will post a link to the listing when it goes live. It is all in excellent condition apart from the open end of the box which has a large rip in it.

General view of 4193

The set comprises of 462 pieces which includes 5 minifigures. Jack Sparrow, Joshamee Gibbs, a Coach Driver, a Soldier and an Officer. The soldiers are well armed!

The characters.

The two horse-drawn carriages are some of the best examples made by Lego in my opinion. Full of detail and playability. The passenger coach is a definite favorite of mine, the shape is perfect. The contents of the cart can flip over so you can have a normal load or one that's on fire!
The building is a pub and has a suitably equipped interior and a great pub sign on the outside. ("Captain's Daughter")

The pub and local transport.

The set is completed by a large double-sided poster (one side shown below).

Poster measures approx. 84 cms (33 inches) by 59 cms (23 inches)

The damaged end of the box. My fault entirely!!

The auction will be for one week and as usual I'll ship anywhere in the world. (Outside UK I always add insurance due to items going missing.)

Collectible Minifigure Series 1 eBay links.

The Series 1 figures are now live on eBay. You can link to them here: Demolition Dummy , Magician and Super Wrestler. They're on auction for 3 days so if you're thinking of bidding do it now!

Next week I shall be auctioning off my last non-City Lego set for a while. Pirates of the Caribbean set 4193 'The London Escape'. I will get some better pictures and do a mini review before putting it on eBay so you will know exactly what you're getting. And before anybody asks (they probably wouldn't anyway...) yes it still has it's poster!

Coming soon to an eBay listing near you!!!

Each figure is complete and in excellent condition but sadly I don't have the original packaging.  As usual I'll post anywhere in the world. 4866 Knight Bus eBay link!

The Knight Bus is now live on eBay and you can link straight to it here!

Hopefully I will be listing a few series 1 collectible minifigures during the week, if work doesn't get in the way. There is also a chance of me listing some Lego long-sleeve polo tops including Batman and Harry Potter (Both for an 8-year-old)

I don't have much left in the way of Lego sets to sell so I'm going to be at a bit of a loss after that!

If you're thinking of bidding, good luck!

Harry Potter set 4866 'The Knight Bus' for eBay.

Next to go up for auction, like the title of the post says, is Harry Potter 'The Knight Bus' set 4866. This is the second Knight Bus produced by Lego, the first being 4755 from 2004.  This one is better looking generally and has one extra minifig and the shrunken head is a 1x1 round brick instead of a picture on the windscreen!

4866 'The Knight Bus' from 2011

The minifigures are: Harry, Stan Shunpike (both of who were in the first set) and the new figure of Ernie Prang, the bus driver looking suitably wrinkly and old.

Ernie Prang, Stan Shunpike, Harry Potter, Hedwig (probably)
and the Shrunken head.

The bus itself comes in three sections, one for each deck. The bottom deck has the driver's seat (obviously)  and room for a small bed. the middle deck has one (!!) seat and a space for Harry's luggage. The top deck is much the same as the second deck with the added attraction of a great swinging chandelier that reaches down to the deck below. the whole thing is in a nice purple colour which is quite hard to find.

The three sections of the bus (the chandelier is propping up
the roof piece.)

All the pieces are present, as are the box and instructions. As usual the instructions are a bit curved but I will flatten them out before sending it to it's new home. The only damage on the box is at the open end with the usual things that happen when you open it!I post anywhere in the world, but outside the UK I now always include insurance because of things going missing.
If you're thinking of bidding, good luck and I hope you get a bargain....but not TOO much of a bargain...

30017 and 30152 micro reviews

Just a few lines to give my thoughts on two small sets that were recently on promotion in the UK. I'm a City collector so these two were welcome additions to the promotion, and while I did pick up other promotional packs, they will probably be sold on at a later date.

First off is 30017 'Police Boat'. The set contains 35 pieces including one minifigure. The boat is really nothing special at all. It uses standard pieces in standard colours. This is pretty much the same as a dozen other small boats but I suppose for the piece count there's not a lot extra that could be done. The figure is one of the forest police officers and has the new life-jacket that came out this year, which is probably the best bit of it all! In my opinion this is for completists only.

30017 Police Boat

Next is '30152 Mining Quad'. 40 pieces and a lot more playability than the boat! You get a small, simple quad vehicle, a miner minifigure (not a happy look on his face, he must be working too hard!),a drill, some dynamite and a couple of warning cones. Again nothing special but this is the best of the two and a welcome addition to the mining sets already out.

30152 Mining Quad
These sets weren't exactly free, but for 50 pence (British money!) for the newspaper you get a price (depending on the set) of around 1.25 pence per piece. Now that's a bargain!

Alien Conquest and Pharaoh's Quest for eBay

Right, I've finally managed to dig out a couple more sets to put up for auction on eBay. This time I'm selling set 7050 'Alien Defender' and 7306 'Golden Staff Guardians' both from 2011.

7050 has 105 pieces and two minifigures with a rugged 4x4 vehicle equipped with missiles and a tiny alien flying thingy. Being a small set there's nothing really there to git it a 'wow' factor but the figs are cool enough. There's quite a lot of firepower on show so if you're a weapons fan you'll like this one.

7050 - Alien Defender

The 4x4 fighting vehicle
The alien on his flying wotsit. Reminds me of a hamster I used to own, except he didn't have fangs halfway up his face...

7306 has 70 pieces and three minifigs. With two Pharaoh mummys and an adventurer on a very cool bike it's a good little set despite the lower piece-count to 7050. Each mummy comes equipped with a curved sword and a beetle shield. (That's a shield in the shape of a beetle, not a shield that will keep the beetles away from them...) The bike is my favorite part of this set. It's a good looking machine and comes well loaded with equipment. The box makes it look like the front headlights light up - they don't! There is a sticker on the bottom of the box covering the original bar code.

7306 - Golden Staff Guardians

The armed nasties.

One of Lego's best ever bikes, fully equipped!

I'll be listing these on Saturday or Sunday for 7 days and will post worldwide. Due to stuff going missing outside the UK I am now going to add insurance to all items sent abroad. I know this means the postage rates are going to be higher but I'd rather know the parcel is going to arrive than have to compensate people and not have the set, I lose all round.
